I have been a member of the Rewardtv site for a few years and have had quite a few vouchers from the shopping spree that is held each week. However on several occasions, the latest being today, their clock is several minutes after the actual stated time, so that when the "spree" comes live, all the prizes have gone. I have emailed them several times about this without receiving a proper reply.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so what have you done about it? Is there a Survey regulation body that I can complain to?
I have told them that I am posting on this site to get other peoples opinions.

I randomly have this problem too. I have emailed RewardTV about it on several occasions, with the last reply saying:
"Thank you for informing us. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
I can assure you that your concern has been raised already to the relevant department. I will call the attention of the team to look into this matter the soonest time possible.
Once they get back to us, I will contact you right away.
Again, please accept our apology and thank you for your patience on this matter."
I am still waiting...

Thanks for posting, it is good to now that I am not the only one!! This time I actually got a reply back from a named person, "Nathan". I had mentioned in my email that I was posting it in MSE! He suggested that it was the fault of the clock on my computer and that he can assure me that prizes really do go that quickly!!!
I replied via his email that my clock, watch and computer all agreed with the time given on the non-digital radio and, on one occasion, that this had happened on the hour when it was nearly ten minutes out. I am starting to keep a record now that I have got his email!!!0 -
The same thing happened again today; this time it was 3.7 minuets out. As I said I am keeping a record and notifying Nigel each time until something gets done about it.0

Mine is right at the moment, but whether it will be correct when I have enough points for a shopping spree remains to be seen.
Slightly off topic, I haven't seen any surveys recently to get additional points. I might have just missed them, but I can't remember the last time I did the cinema ones, for example.0 -
Most times my clock is on time with their clock, but I have this theory that if I win a voucher, then the clock changes just a fraction so that you don't win again for a while. But of course I could be completely wrong!!!Mine is right at the moment, but whether it will be correct when I have enough points for a shopping spree remains to be seen.

I haven't had any of these surveys either; yes they are what bump up the total! But I don't think that they are "person specific".
The vouchers are very useful; especially as Argos accept them.0 -
Yet again the shopping spree was 3.07 minutes late. I have told them that I will post on here until they fix it!!!0

I've just found that deleting the RewardTV cookie resets the timer. Hope this works for everybody else who is having problems.0

Thanks Robinette.I've just found that deleting the RewardTV cookie resets the timer. Hope this works for everybody else who is having problems.
Please can you explain how to do this as I am not very good with technology and yet again their clock is out by just over 2 minutes!!!
Thanks0 -
Yes I've had problems with them too. Last time I had enough points I logged on to the shopping spree page 10 minutes before the 'go live' time. I watched the clock count down & the page refresh, tried buying the £15 voucher & it said they'd all gone. I was on superfast/fibre optic broadband so was nothing to do with my internet speed as it all loaded immediately.
I emailed them about it & got more or less the same response as you got, it was very annoying as at the time I could have really done with the £15! I haven't done anything on the site for a while but sounds like it's not improved much.0 -
