Can I put radish in a veg soup?

I am making a vegetable soup, with all the veg in fridge tht needs eating up and I have about 10 radish, that need eating, will they be ok in the soup? Do they go soft etc, as I've always eaten them with salad.

I think they might work ok pureed and added to a potato or perhaps leek and potato type of soup. I expect they'd give it a mild peppery flavour. I don't think I'd add them to a tomatoey soup though and I do think that chunks would have a strange texture.Saving for deposit: Finished! :j
