I got 7% off total price including disc drive etc by going through the work discounts site. Not sure if this is an option for you or if you have any links to someone who has this facility. I work for local government but a lot of companies have similar options.0

Hi,
My son was able to get 15% discount on his macbook at an Apple store 2 years ago because he was going to university. He had to provide proof of his uni offer. May be worth checking with Apple if they are still offering this depending on who you are buying it for.
