Sorry but I feel a loan of over 50% of your income with little proof of paying large amounts back is a very big ask
Use what you've got saved up (which @ £400/month should be a decent amount) and either buy a cheaper car outright or cut the loan amount to say £5k
How long was the loan over?
Will out really be living at home until its all paid off?
Believe me, setting up house for the first time is hard enough without having a monstrous loan repayment to make each monthGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250

Take up the offer of a credit card - £5000 did you say? Use it responsibly (no late payments). Won't help you now but it might in six months time. By which time you will have saved more anyway.0

tamsmsc,
It's good to hear you get your Experian credit score for free, though unfortunately it's still worth less than that.
Ask yourself a simple question: Without knowing your salary and the amount you want to borrow, how could Experian meaningfully score your creditworthiness?Optimists see a glass half full
Pessimists see a glass half empty
Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be
