The lender is Leeds BS. They have had us jump through hoops for the whole application process to be perfectly honest. I should have expected nothing less for the mortgage offer I suppose.0

If you want confirmation, ask the broker for a copy of the mortgage application and it will show which commitments are to remain and which are to be repaid.I am a mortgage broker. It was my solicitor who checked, I am assuming on behalf of the lender prior to the funds being released. I was asked to show my statements (1 of which hadn't been released yet - had to ask for a letter confirming I was paid up and account closed)0
