Just in initial stages of thinking about this sheltered housing for a family member. Have no idea how much this accommodation costs though? Does anyone have experience of this type of housing and what price they charge per week/month?
Thanks

Variable depending on property/area.

Also check out the state of repair of the property. I don't know if all Associations are the same, but you end up sorting out the mess the previous tenant left behind and that could be expensive.0

If you're looking into sheltered or supported housing for a relative, it's worth having a look at the listings from Clanmil Housing on the Property News website. They, along with the Housing Executive and Helm Housing are now advertising vacancies online, but many of the Clanmil properties seem to be sheltered developments for over 55s with on site wardens. Worth checking out. If your relative applies for social housing, from Fold or any other association, they'll usually go on the waiting list and get points etc.
Like JTK174 says, you need to really check out the property before accepting it. I think there are certain change of tenancy repairs which have to be carried out when one person moves out and before another tenant moves in -google "Getting an offer of housing northern ireland" for information on these (can't post a link!)0
