Genuine Working from home- do they exist??

There is one way as catwoman mentions with WSE (web search evaluation) or variations of. The 3 main companies are leapforce, appen and lionbridge. I currently work for appen but have worked for all 3 over the last 5 years. They all have their ups and downs, but they are legit and they do pay (well).
There are downsides. I wouldn't recommend this as your "main job" as there are no guarantees. You count as a self employed contractor so they can drop you whenever they want and you can go months with no work. Also the work can get repetitive depending on the project.
However that said I have been averaging over 8K a year. I made 600 quid in a week with lionbridge once. Good times0 -

I earn a bit more than that but I'd say if the OP wants a regular income she has to be able to make a regular and reliable commitment to it...and you need to be very motivated and organized to do so successfully when combining it with a full time office job.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I do call centre type work from home for around £7 an hour (up to £12 an hour for some clients). It's not great money but you can pick and choose the hours and do pretty much as many or few as you wish.Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080

Both genuine companies as I have friends who have worked for both.0 -
Can you write and/or copy edit? There are lots of companies out there with work for freelancers, although the best companies tend to be based in the US and require a working knowledge of AP (Associated Press) style.0

I've found Swagbucks to be very helpful - vouchers can be used for gifts and the like.
Meaning the cash I would have spent goes into savings!0 -
