Child Maintenance from Abroad

Hi
Just looking for some advice. Story is I split from ex-husband when my son was a year old, he is now nearly 14. My ex has worked abroad all of his son's life except for a couple of years in England. He has always paid maintenance, albeit in US$ which is a pest as the amount depends on the exchange rate.
He married not soon after and has one younger son and she has two of her own, one left home and one at uni.
I get US$550 a month which use to be US$500 so has only gone up US$50 is all those years.
My query is how do I know if he is giving me the correct amount as I believe that because he is abroad it is harder to deal with.

That is approx £330 per month. Unless you decide to go through REMO which is very costly and lengthily, then I would say your getting a pretty good amount for your son.0
