only hypocritical if they had behaved in a similar way, surely?

Rudeness and a lack of professionalism are just as bad whether it is the candidate or the interviewer at fault.
All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)
  • You introduce questions into your answers.

Isn't this construde as rudely intrupping someone? potentially

Both were taking notes, there was no intro and no format given so I didn't know what course the interview was going to take

I don't half wish I had responded lastly with why arrange interviews around a pre-booked holiday which means none of the applicants interviewed are due an answer when the issue of ID had been taken, that's the most scary of this farce

Anyway if I get this type of interview come up again I will certainly try what has been recommended, thanks all

Some interviewers are pig ignorant. I was interviewed once by a guy who just had to keep checking his emails all the time in between asking me questions. I wish in hindsight that I should have asked him if it would be better for him to interview me when he had my full attention or just walk out. Could you imagine if it was the other way around with me checking my phone emails when he was interviewing me. Well you would have had hypocritical employers coming on this forum saying they had rude & ignorant candidates who obviously didn't want a job.

    I agree.

Thank you for taking the words out of my mouth, it did enter my mind to start mirroring the behaviour :D I had received!

Something tells me they will need to re-advertise as no-one wants to wait weeks to hear whilst I improve my interview skills on this interview type and make sure I note company name to avoid both personally and professionally, ugh definitely going to be no encores with this one! I'm thinking of withdrawing before they even come back to me

    You missed the point,

    You are not interrupting them

You introduce the questions into your answers to their questions.
