Credit raiting Default help needed

Hi, I have two defaulted CC accounts, and I am paying them off. The default was in 2010 and I would like to know when the Default on my credit history will not be marked default any more? I understand this should be 6 years from the default but as i am still paying them off is it 6 years from the last and final settlement payment? I did ask MA, but they did not know and they advised i speak to debt charities but they did not kow either - any help would be most welcome. Sally:T

The whole record of that credit account will drop off 6years after the default date on your file.
So even if you haven't paid it the debt would no longer show on your credit file at all.

The debt will still be owed and you will still need to repay it (or risk being taken to court). Its just that it will not longer show on your credit file.
