My friend is attending a work programme with them and he has to go every week. I was thinking of finding out from them if they could help me, but I'm not on benefits. I may ask today when I go with my friend there, if it's possible to help me find work.
Has anyone on here found work through them, or know of anyone who they've helped?

I would advise avoiding any work programme if you are not being forced to attend. As for Ingeus, I was once sent a job by them. It was a very dodgy job. I don't think it was fake or a scam, but anyone with any sense of right and wrong would avoid it and run a mile!
From what I've read on them as well there are far more bad stories than good. Their own website has a bad WOT (Web of Trust) rating too.
Basically, if you don't have to go there don't! You'll get far more help on here than what you'll get from any work programme.0 -
I have been on almost two years.
I will tell you this. They employ people with a sales background and then package everything up as if its very clear in terms of costs and penalties and are persuasive. Most of the people there are alright. There are nasty ones but they dont last. You are entitled to complain about those.
However they can only advise you based on what their managers tell them. They dont know every detail about what can go wrong, and might not tell you anyway as they are on performance targets and commissions.
I have a large list of errors in their advice. Dont just agree to everything.. Everything they tell you, say "thanks, no offence but I will have to check that as you cant know everything, and you are also a commission/target based employee"
I had to find all the work and business opportunities all myself. Almost everything they sent me has been a dead end, unsuitable or even a bogus business.
The only good thing is having the meeting is helpful when you are getting nowhere, and they still have a lot of good advice to offer.0 -
It down to the type of people they employ, It the same with other providers.
The link below is for a Job-Coach at Seetec, It was posted on the 24th July. Over a fortnight later, no one has applied. Says a lot about the reputation of Seetec as a employer.

But yes I have found a great job because of them and I have met others who have as well
The advisors are not on commission BTW0 -
Why not ask around about voluntary work? That can often be a good route into employment, particularly if training is on offer.0
