My kids 12 to 15 need a new sofa in their room and thought this may be a good option for when friends stay over too.
If you have one is it comfy enough to use nightly as a sofa please? The bed would be used about twice a month, so the normal use would be for watching tv etc
Thanks

I have daybed The railings at side come up quite high so not comfortable as sofa. Ok as bed
Take them to ikea let them decide. Is cheaper than a sofa0 -
Hello
We use it as a normal bed for ds1 (he's 5!) it's deeper than a sofa would be, but with lots of cushions on the back it would be fine I think.
Hope that helps xGC 193/1500 -
I would personally go for a sofa bed, not a day bed. They aren't very comfy for sitting for long periods, the rails are completely upright, even with cushions.0

OP- We bought the one you are considering and my advice is don't do it!!!
Its uncomfortable as a couch and an absolute nightmare as a bed. The mattress slide off how ever you use it.
What about a futon ?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
