HND and BURSARY

    Full time HNDs should be eligible for maintenance loans and means tested grants.

    What did the college say when you (your son) asked them? Is it a HND or a HNC as per your other posts?

    I'd be interested to know too, as when I done my HNC, there was no way you could cover the topics without having done the ONC in my field.

    It's kinda confusing - he's studying to b a quantity surveyor - he's been told his 1st year will be an HNC in construction and the next 3 years will be HND in quantity surveying - he was told today at his induction he wouldn't qualify for a bursary as he is doing an HND - i'v since spoken to Citizens Advice and they assured me that he does qualify - he's going to phone SAAS tomorrow 😃
