Lender requiring additional survey info

Options
I was wondering if anyone has had something similar.

I've had a valuation done on the property I'm hoping to buy. The lender has asked for the surveyor to produce some additional information or answer a couple of further questions (unfortunately I don't know what the questions are).

Should I be worried? The broker thought it was a bit strange of them for a 12 year old property but she also said that the lender didn't seem to be making a big deal of it and that the application would go back to the underwriters after. Any thoughts?

The Lender making sure the property is OK is good news for you.

This is not unusual, although the broker would normally be advised what the potential issues are.
