Hi guys,
Your help is required....
I have lots of cooked new potatoes which were done on Saturday which need eating but not sure what to do with them other than slice and fry them or put them in a pot salad. I really don't want to throw them away.
Any suggestions??????

they are gross when defrosted, all mushy and slimy.. I take them out of other dishes I use them in when I am freezing extra portions because they are inedible after freezing.
Potato salad
just eat them cold as snacks, I LOVE them!
Slice and make a potato bake with cheese sauce and bits of other veg or meat if you have any.
Fry them whole.. deep fat fryer on lowest setting. nom...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Frittata! Great way of using up all sorts of leftovers - meat and veg.
I don't follow a recipe but here's one which uses potato to give you an idea: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/11682/potato-spring-onion-dill-and-cheese-frittata4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -
they will freeze ok if you toss them in oil and give them five minutes in a hot oven - you can then freeze them and use them as 'roasties'. (I like to flavour the oil with garlic and rosemary or just salt and pepper - but plain oil is fine)0
