Lloyds TSB Credit Search

Does anyone know what Credit Reference Agency LLoyds TSB use when doing a credit search. I have been with Lloyds for about 20 years and whenever I apply for a loan it does not seem to show up anywhere to say they have carried out a search. However perhaps they are like Cahoot and go by your credit score obtained from the agencies.

i think they have their own internal credit score based on their dealings with you.
but C&g use experian, which explains why the bank throw credit at us(including an irresponsible 11,500.00 credit card limit - I only have £85 on it), but we were refused a mortgage.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

I do not understand the logic of LLoyds because a friend of mine wanted a 200 pound overdraft and was declined. However Lloyds cards services wrote to him shortly afterwards to advise they have increased his cl by a further 3,500 to 11,500. pounds.

Well I received a copy of my credit report from Experian and even though I applied for Aloan from LLoyds TSB three times in last 6 months it has never shown up on my credit file. Also checked with Equifax and nothing there so I assume they must go by an internal credit scoring system plus they probably (like Barclaycard) have the credit agencies generic score as well.
