Please help- sister took debt out in my name and don't know what to do

I checked my credit file and to cut a long story short discovered that my sister had taken out an account with a catalogue, using my name back in August 2011.
The debt was for £245. Another long story short but my family emotionally blackmailed me into not reporting my sister for fraud (this is was I wanted to do). The debt is now paid off (by my mum I might add, NOT my sister!) however I now have 3 defaults on my file with regards to this debt.
Prior to this my partner and I were looking to buy our first house; this is now not an option because of these defaults.
My question is: is there any way to have these debts disassociated from me and linked to my sister, now that I have paid the debt off?
I'm almost certain that my sister would be happy to write a letter to the debt collection agency to explain what she did. She is the kind of person that doesn't consider repercussions, she doesn't care what goes on her credit file!
If she wouldn't do this then I am now emotionally strong enough to report her for fraud (sadly at the time I found out about the debt I wasn't this strong). She has also done this to my other sister and my mum.
I feel like I was pushed into not reporting her in the first place. I just want this to be off of my file so I can try and get on with my life and my plans to buy a house.
I would really appreciate any advice that people have about this.

Sorry I forgot to add in my original post that I only found out about this debt in May of this year and it was paid off in July (when the collection agency asked for the money)0

you would need to report it as fraud and for it to be found to be fraud for them to be remove it from your credit file
if all it took was a letter from your sister why wouldnt more people do it? you can add a note to your credit file but without reporting her unfortunately your options are quite limitedThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50
