Maintenance and HNC

Hi - my son is 17 and is going to college to do an HNC - is my ex-husband still liable to pay maintenance for him

    no, an HNC is higher education so child benefit, tax credits and maintenance will cease

    its brilliant that your son is moving on with his life, and progressing well, well done him and well done mum for bringing up a well balanced son who knows what he wants to do. time to let go of support,he is capable of standing on his own feet and the shoulders of giants
