Experian sign up or wait?

I have seen a few people on here talk about that they can see if the mortgage company has ran a credit check etc on them through Experian but i am not signed up with them would it be stupid to sign up with them now when im in the middle of an application? Does is effect your application in anyway?

In my experience it doesn't because Experian just gives you an overview of your credit status and your chances of getting a loan.

If you sign up for Experian's 'Credit Expert' service, you get a month's free trial...give it a go?

I might sign up later this evening then, see if Leeds have ran any checks.
