Drs have lost all my paper notes

Very annoyed but just went to Drs about a matter and we had to look back and she said all my paper notes are missing. Basically when I changed Drs the notes were not sent. It's actually two Drs ago and at the time I wasn't told they hadn't got everything.

My Dr mentioned that a company called CCG deal with all the transfer of notes and that I could try them.

Can anyone help here, do i have a hope of getting anything back?

As the patients notes belong to the nhs and not the patient I would think it's the surgery's job to go chasing them, not yours.

well I think as it was the Dr's from around 5 years ago they wipe their hands of it. My last Dr should have done this but just didn't bother.

The CCG is the Clinical Commissioning Group - the people that coordinate all the doctors in the area (in very simple terms). They will have a PALS officer that should be able to help you.
