he Brindleyplace Film Festival will be returning to an estate near you this summer!

The free festival will take place for one week between 7 and 13 July in Central Square, showing Birmingham’s favourite films – as voted by the general public.

The Film Festival will showcase a total of nine films with the week day films screened at 6pm and two films shown on both Saturday and Sunday, the first at 12pm and the second at 4pm.

There is a competitive edge to this year’s outdoor Film Festival, as the theme is films produced in the 80s Vs those from the 90s! Where does your heart lie?

Vote for those films that you wish to be shown on the outdoor screen during the week-long festival using the form below. Everyone that votes for their favourite film will be entered into a special prize draw to win two tickets to see a film of their choice at the Electric Cinema on Station Street, as well as a meal for two at Piccolino in Brindleyplace.

    I've been Money Tipped!
MAGIC multi-media show by award winning close up magician Steve Truglia. Enjoy and have fun! Short and sweet – 1 hour show !!!! If you love poker, love cards, card magic you MUST see this guy.
The Card Shark show stars Steve Truglia, an accomplished sleight of hand expert and close up magician. Having passed the notoriously rigorous performance exam for The Magic Circle, Steve sought out long ago hidden secrets within the Magic Circle's incredible library, to further study these dark arts. In earlier life Steve's time with UK Special Forces taught him the use of psychological operations to defeat an adversary; skills which are also used by gambling cheats and con artists to this day.

A new, chilling thriller starring Anita Graham (EastEnders) with Murder Mystery regulars Jo Castleton, Lara Lemon, Claire Vousden, Samuel Clemens, John Hester and Ben Roddy. Catherine, a beautiful young model, is offered photographic assignment in a remote Victorian mansion in Wales.
The house is owned by an American, whose son has arrived from New York to spend his last few weeks in his ancestors' family seat. During the photo shoot, Catherine gets to know the son and is captivated by him, despite the young man looking pale and weak. Her feelings for him grow, unaware that the modelling job is a sham and that the reason why she was lured to the gothic house dates back to the 1830s when a young woman was pushed from the roof top to her death. The Widow is a gripping tale of thwarted ambition, unswerving maternal love, and a doomed romance that warms the heart whilst drawing us into a rich story that resonates long after the final curtain.
