Someone said computers don't use much electricity but we found our bill dropped significantly when we started switching ours off when not using them. They used to be on 24/7 but now both are off at night and have been set up with a gizmo to use less power (husband is in IT) when they are on. My husband didn't believe this either until we actually trialled it and read the meter once a month to check and our usage really dropped.0
