Mortgage checker

Options
I am having some problems with my mortgage provider, as in they doubled the loan value (!) and it a took a letter from my solicitor to sort it out.

Some of my mortgage statements have gone adrift in the post (tenement flats) and I really need to check that everything is in order. I have asked about duplicate statements but they want to charge me a lot of money for this.

Does anyone know where I might find a quick and simple mortgage checker?

Many thanks.

You could try asking for a list of transactions from your mortgage account for the last 6 years under the Data Protection Act.

Its your information and providing you do not as for duplicate statements but a list of "your transactions"

Who is the provider as many - such as Halifax and Nationwide - now let you see the balance as part of the online banking facility.

Thank you for that suggestion; I will try it.

Hi, it is Northern Rock. Must admit I have never thought about this and yet, I do all my banking etc. online! Have just gone to their website and it looks as though there may be the facility to do this. Shall go back now and see if I can register. Many thanks for this suggestion.
