Missold Endowment ?

Options
In the summer of 1997 i purchased my home. The Mortgage was arranged by the Estate Agent who also arranged the Endowment policy and Endowment payment insurance with Axa.

At the time i had no credit history . Due to not being on Electoral role list i could not get a mortgage but my wages were paid into TSB.

Dixons estate agents arranged everything Including Mortgage for me due to the reasons above.

January 2002 i had an accident at work and took four months off. I continued to pay Mortgage but could not afford to pay Endowment. Axa Insurance to cover Endowment payments did not start till 6 months continuous unemployment.

I changed Mortgage lender and type of Mortgage 2003. I went to capital repayment. And stopped paying Endowment policy and they gave me £500 back.

I would like to know if i could claim miss selling of Endowment if how do i get old policy numbers.
Can i claim missold AXA insurance that was supposed to cover Endowment payments. I paid £12 per month for this.

Also TSB mortgage sure policy i never claimed at time of accident because had sick pay. After returning to work i contacted TSB asked for mortgage payments refund because i had mortgage sure. TSB gave me two months payments.

You have 3 years from being reasonably aware of an issue or 6 years from commencement to make a complaint (whichever is longer). You surrendered in 2003 and had until 2006 to complain.

That was long before regulation started (Jan 2005) and nothing you say indicates any mis-sale. All policies have an initial deferment period for time you need to be off work. That is normal.
