Curtains advice please

Our lounge window/patio doors measurement is 4.3m x 210 m, at present have vertical blinds and a dress pelmet and curtains that probably go half way accross window. Due to size of window room gets extremely cold in winter. All needs a bit of a refresh and update so wondering what options are available and best place to get curtains made and poles etc. Have seen Dunnelm do like a wadding fabric in curtains but not sure if that would work on this size. Can't have nets as need to be able to open central patio door to let dog in/out garden.

    Hiya, on our patio doors that open into a large conservatory we have a curtain track with solar curtains and a pole track above with thermal lined curtains.

    The solar curtains we bought on holiday in Tenerife a few years ago.
    Brilliant for keeping the sun and heat out in summer.

    The thermal lined curtains I bought of ebay.
    The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)
