A diary to keep me on track!

Morning all,
Am a frequent diary reader on here & thought it might be a good way to help me stay on track & achieve my goals. As is I'm full of ideas, plans & list but am a bit of (a lot of) a procrastinator.
A bit about me, am early 30s live with my OH, ds 2 & an ancient pooch.
Have some debts, total about 4k & most on 0% till next June so plan to make minimum pmts on 0% & throw over payments & interest charging debt to get cleared ASAP. Whilst doing this there are a few things I would like to save for (Christmas, jobs in the house etc) don't need 1000's certainly not for Christmas anyway but would like to be prepared rather than waiting to Nov/Dec pay to sort out & taking a massive hit. Have a £2 coin tin that started in Jan (do this every year) & normally open 2x a year for holiday & Christmas but didn't need to for this years hol so am already a bit ahead but not had a £2 for ages now:(
Will post an SOA later.
Thanks for reading if you did x

Evening, no debt busting to report & a v expensive day as it turns out. Turns out that despite flea treatment our pooch has them & had a skin complaint so a trip to the vet & it turns out our flea treatment although it states kills fleas it doesn't just repels them so needed special vet treatment, different repellant (v expensive) & anti inflammatorys, new brush etc so am now £110 poorer. On the upside I have this in emergency/unexpected fund so it did not go on the credit card. Spent whole day washing furnishings etc & looking after poorly ds.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better x0 -

Best of luck with your debt busting. I have a similar amount to shift myself so will be seeing how you get on! I keep meaning to start saving £2 coins but always end up dipping into them. Perhaps now I have my 'savers head' on I may do better!0

Thanks pinkgiraffe. I'll follow yours too. I have one of those sealed tin things (like a tin of beans) from the £1 shop, love the terramundi things but too expensive & nice to smash up lol. I don't dip in to it cos I can't without opening it fully with the tin opener.
Payday in a week so will be making more payments here & there, will update my sig so can track it that way. Have enough petrol in my car to last till after the bank hol I think (I work 4 days a week & am off next Thurs & fri so this will definitely help) & have food budget left for next week but that's it. Need to check balance on my pre-pay card, pay in £80 from my salary through a work scheme & get between 3-10% cashback wherever I use it! paid roughly every month back on to the card, not masses but every little helps. If I have enough left to cover the shopping I will use the budget money for an over payment of the interest charging card.

Yes that's what I need. Although I have been known to break into those too! Hopefully if my budget goes to plan then I won't need to get the can opener out anymore! Time will tell!0

Afternoon all from a very blustery wales.
Nothing major to report, checked my pre-pay card & unexpectedly it has ££44 on it, a nice surprise & will more than cover this weeks shopping. Have plenty of meat in freezer so with careful meal planning should only need a few fresh bits to make up meals, also need more baby wipes. Got some money off vouchers for sainsburys this morning, £4 off a £20 spend, don't normally shop much in there tbh but the offer & the fact that my mum has told me the prices have come down a lot means it's worth my while for a few weeks. Will still be being a savvy as possible & not buying unnecessary bits.
Also go some £1 off vouchers this week for the Dr oetker baking range, had complained about some colour gels I bought so they have sent me 4. Would have preferred it for the pizza range but never mind, will find out where has the stuff cheapest & stock my baking cupboard with a few bits that am running low on.
Really need to get an SOA sorted.

A bit of an up & down update from me.
Shopping came in at £31 after vouchers & that included £10.50 worth of presents for Xmas & I used my pre pay card so I was pleased. Have vouchers for next 5 weeks of 20% off a £20 spend with bonus nectar points if I use them all. Did forget my nectar card so must remember to update that next week.
Checked my PayPal & topcashback back accs & have withdrawn £88 so am very pleased will be splitting it between debt (majority) & Christmas savings card.
Downside is just had letter from electric company saying they are putting DD up by £100, ridiculous, will be calling tomorrow to sort & have told oh we are on it now & we are getting our monthly usage down. Any tips for helping with this would be appreciated.
All bills are paid for the month & I'm not in my od at all. Even a bit in the black with bills acc but that is earmarked for water bill which is due this week. Must chase water company tomorrow, they have lost my last payment, emailed all details to them last week so am hoping they will have found it.
