hating the debt !

I have always lived out of my means, however with a great deal of luck never been in debt till now.
I'm 27, 2 kids (d's 4 and dd 3) and in the middle of a divorce and giving it a go with my "what if" guy.
I'm currently $11500 in debt on a credit card. Most of this is the cost of moving across the country and furniture.
Starting Monday I'm going to ring the bank and ask for 0% interest or switch to a different bank. (Current interest is 15%).
I will then ring around and get better deals on gas and power. We don't own a tv, my main expense is my phone at $100 a month but that does my Internet and everything else to, rent is $700 a f/n. We rarely use the car so can't cut back there.
Looking at soa, I should have 200 spare a f/n to put on cc.
My parents owe me $8000 ( my mum is buying my horse, one less expense and mouth) so I only have to find 3500
My partner on the other hand.... owes 35000 for his car, 150000 mortgage and 50000 to his parents total of 235000:eek: but my debt first before I start helping him @!!

Unfortunately a spend day today a need to refill a prescription at the chemist. Lucky though it's subsidized from defence so I only have to pay $14.
I had some carrots sitting in my crisper the where starting to look a little sad so today I'm making carrot muffins with cream cheese frosting for lunches during the week.
I'm also going today to pick up a dog we will be fostering for a local rescue group, a lovely beagle named Mason. The foster group provides his food and such we just need to give him time and love till a home is found.cc................................7500/11000...........14%
