Rossendales, pff

Hi, about 3 years ago my friend(it really was!) used my car and parked in a car park, he paid but returned late. I got a ticket and after reviewing info from this board discovered the contract was between my friend and the parking company.

I wrote to them, explained the situation and explained that I knew I had no legal obligation to pass on the info required.

End of case.... Or so I though!

I have just had a letter from rossendales demanding £150 within 7 days, it goes on to state that I have ignored previous requests. That's a lie!

Any advice on how to deal with these clowns?

I'm in a similar position. Four years ago I overstayed my welcome with excel parking but didn't pay the penalty notice on advice from this forum. I've just received a letter from Rossendales saying they'll commence recovery action. What should I do?

    (a) start your own thread or

    (b) watch how this one develops

We need to keep 1 thread per person so we can target advice specific to them.

I'm sure you can see that.
