I hate it when that happens purpleshoes.
For what it's worth, I wouldn't have allowed a girlfriend or boyfriend to move in after such a short time, if at all.0 -
I was thinking the same purpleshoes, I wonder why.
I hope he has taken some of the advice given here, and told his son to man up and finish with the girl in a descent way.

OP was logged onto MSE earlier today.
I guess they just didn't like the majority of replies.0 -

Yes, without wishing to be unkind it does seem that communication skills need a little brushing up all round there. Hopefully father and son are both too busy helping girlfriend pack and find some alternative accommodation for her. At 19 she may be legally an adult but most kids of that age haven't really acquired many adult skills. If she were packing up to go off to university adults would be helping her and not just kicking her out of the door with a suitcase or a bin bag. Different situation I know but she's still not much more than a kid however grown up she thinks she is .0 -
I hope the OP took on board some of the advice.
If he did do his sons dirty work for him no doubt it'll be all around the couples mutual friends . The lads will laugh at him and the lassies give him a wide berth.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Come on OP, spill the beans :rotfl:
Has she moved out yet?The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0 -
First of all I'd tell your son to grow a pair and act like a man instead of hiding behind his daddy.
Then if/when she is coming to leave treat her how you would want someone to treat your son/daughter.0 -
You definitely need to get your son to do this! He was mature enough to get into the relationship he should get out of it too. This is about him doing the right thing in the end. can you imagine having to break up with all his girlfriends?? i know you want her out of the house but you need to tell him to do it. If she won't leave, this is where you can step in. But he needs to learn to fight his own battles and end it himself!0

Oh, and make sure she hands back any house keys she has before she leaves. If she gets really vindictive, you never know what she might do and you may have to get your locks changed.0
