I am on holiday at the moment in America and have just received a phone call from this post. forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=5003446&highlight=moss+pavilions
First I would like to thank Lakshmi7 for posting it.
secondly the company that rang me asked me when I was getting married, and the voucher was to be used to dress a groom and ushers I asked if it could be used for other items from moss in the pavilions, she said she would find out if that was acceptable by moss and to give her a ring when I get back to the uk.
I know the competition was for someone who was getting married, but I can't see anything in the t&c about it not being used on wedding stuff. Does anybody think I will have a problem getting this prize.

Why didn't you say the groom and ushers were going to wear the items you want to buy ?0

Congrats

If they ask you again just say you not set a date yet as having a quiet affair just you and hubbie to be so not wanting to hire as won't have ushers etc and use the voucher to buy suit the comp does say £500 to spend on hire or purchase so shouldn't be a problem0 -

Just had this sent to me
I hope you are well and you are having a lovely holiday.
Further to our conversation on Friday, I have looked at the competition copy and spoken to the relevant contacts and as the competition and prize is towards hire or purchase for a wedding, unfortunately we will have to select another winner - I hope you understand.
Thank you again for entering the competition.
It doesn't say anything in the t&c regarding hiring or purchase wedding clothing. What should I do.0 -

Not the clearest way of doing things but this was part of the T&C'sThe outlined prize cannot be altered and there is no cash alternative
The prize outlined in the competition text was basically dressing a groom for their big day.0
