Help needed MSE's!!!
Its my girl friends 22nd birthday very soon and i have no idea what to get her.
I am tempted to buy her a new TV for her room? Or do I go for something else. I dont want to spend a small fortune just something simple and exciting.
Last year i helped out with a depoist on her new car and towards her private reg plate. Now i dont know what to do as she isn't giving me any clues.
Cheers
Jimmy

For my last birthday my boyfriend did a treasure trail - you start off with one clue and then that leads to the next and so on. He had me looking in the freezer (for the wine), kitchen cupboards for the chocs, and so on. You need to do a snazzy little rhyme for each one and there you go!! You can get her lots of little presents, choc, wine, flowers, perfume, jewelry, cosmetics etc. Doesn't have to cost a fortune and I thought mine was the best present ever!!!0

What about a gift experience? I sent my OH for a flying lesson at the weekend and he loved it, I've sent my Dad racing JCB's and my parents for tea at the Ritz. OH bought me tickets to the Reading festival, so maybe dinner and a musical or something like that. Does she have any interests or things she would like to try out? Your local health spa may well do afternoon pamper treatments too, which are often really nice and they would be able to advise you on what to book if you wanted to go down that route. Or got to a theme park for the day
then a champagne picnic in the countryside
I love the treasure trail idea too, that's so cute and really well thought out. I love those sorts of presents more than anything because it shows how much someone has thought about you to put that much effort in.

I like that thought of doing a treasure hunt I must say, I'm considering it for my gf's birthday now although I'd probably do it wrong and get her lost in a wood somewhere while some stray dog ate the chocolates I'd hidden for clue number 74 lolLBM 2 - 27.05.09. that reminds me of when my brother wrapped up a gps system for my son for xmas...he had to find his own pressie with coordinates already programmed in :rotfl: he found his pressie about 3 miles from home halfway up the side of a steep desolate hill only to discover that the rabbits had been munching on it in the night!!:rotfl:I like that thought of doing a treasure hunt I must say, I'm considering it for my gf's birthday now although I'd probably do it wrong and get her lost in a wood somewhere while some stray dog ate the chocolates I'd hidden for clue number 74 lolproper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance!
