B & Q Bargains

Martin mentioned that B & Q were having a super sale.
I was particularly interested as the sale started on Wednesday, and I had need of a wheelbarrow. (B & Q price £5.00 !!!!)

Comments from B & Q:

After ringing up 6 (yes 6!) stores:

1. What sale?
2. Wheel barrows at £ 5.00 ...... I wish! (Staff).
3. Oh yes, the sale started ages ago, we have nothing left.
4. You really must be mistaken?

  • Don't know, but there is a blog about this, and I'm not the only one moaning! The list of moans is as long as my dog's tail!

Unless you have need to go to B&Q, me personally, I wouldn't bother.

There was very much a sale on at my local B&q yesterday, although most of it was 'clearance' items chucked in sale bins, some of it in his shelves at the front of store - it was busier in there than a lot of weekends...

We were there Thursday and there's a big clearance event on we bought wallpaper that we had seen previously for £11 a roll and was reduced to £3 a roll.

There's an offer on crown 2.5ltr tins of emulsion 3 for £30.

The sale is happening at the portrack lane (stockton) store and is worth checking out but dont expect anything extraordinary.

I only popped down to see if they had the ryobi drill offer. £24 for a new drill... wouldn't say no. The only power tools they had were 50% off but still £100 plus anyway.
