    Craftingqueen,

unfortinatly you can probibly expect to be hearing soon from the mighty Credit Solutions Ltd!!! prepare for rude phone calls at all hours of the day, between hours of 8am and 9pm mine were, zero communication when you want information,

just to be on the safeside have your CCA letter and a request for all communication by letter (which will be refused as the claim to not have the facilities to write a letter!!)

there are plenty of people on here who will be able to help you out so keep smiling and don't let the b*****ds get to you!

The above were the people Egg used for me on a loan i had.

As far as DCA's go I had no problems with them, they listen when i called, acknowledged positively my letter of intention of BR and even wrote once the OR had made contact with them saying not to expect any further communication from them and they will deal with the OR directly from now onwards.

As for my Egg credit card then i am afraid it was

sorry to have misled you CQ,

seems like they chop and change,

mine was a CC debt that got changed to loan, it was only for £900 maybe that has a bearing on who they use!

    The do indeed.

I've also seen them use [strike]Crapquest[/strike] err.. Capquest, who in turn often use H L Legal to send out pseudo/fake solicitor's letters.

I'm sure there are many more that Egg will use as well.

EDIT: Forgot 'Broken Hearted' knows Crapquest well.;)

  • I've received a letter from Egg for my credit card saying they have passed it to an external DCA. I've just started a DMP with CCCS and all the other creditors have accepted and been fine about it.

I'm a bit worried about this now. Thought the days of phonecalls/letters demanding money were over. I knew it was too good to be true!

Craftingqueen - they sent the letter on 2 July and said the DCA would be in touch within 10 days. Not heard anything yet, but I'll let you know how it goes.

    Hi

I have not had dealings with a DCA yet but i had the same thing with EGG. They sent me a letter saying they had done so and the DCA would contact me within 10 days. When i heard nothing i sent a secure message to EGG asking when the DCA would contact me and they replied that the account was still with them and had not been passed on:confused: .
