Payment Plan With Halifax?

I have agreed a payment plan with Halifax today although still unsure about how it works. I informed them I had been off work sick due to being attacked at work and suffered 2 cracked ribs, a blow to the head and stress but the advisor basically couldn't give a toss and in fact made me feel 10 times worse. I also advised them it was short term 2 months and things will definitely be back to normal by then.

She then informed me that Payment Plan is for 6 months and my account will be closed and in 6 months time if balance not paid in full I would have to ring up and arrange another plan. I politely informed her the full balance will not be re payed in 6 months and my situation is only short term. Again she took no notice and found her extremely rude...

Question is can I end this payment plan at anytime and go back to making normal monthly payments before the 6 months.

I also telephoned Halifax again and complained about this persons attitude. Customer Services informed me I was put through to an Indian Call Centre and should have been treated with respect!

Nationwide were extremely helpful when i telephoned them and payment plan with them is for the 2 months that i asked for. They were extremely supportive and very friendly
