Can I get a new mortgage deal with current lender even though I am on a DMP?

Hello this is my first post and hope it is the right place??!
I am on a DMP and I have a mortgage with Halifax. I have no arrears at all on my mortgage and have never missed a payment BUT my credit history is poor to say the least! If I apply to swap deals on my mortgage would it even be considered or should I stay with deal i am on??

You can only ask. The Halifax cannot change your contractual terms as they stand on a unilateral basis.0

Your options will depend on the type of arrangement you have with Halifax currently.
Your best option is to have a mortgage broker handle it for you.I am a Mortgage Broker
