I won a skiing holiday in Morzine and we went in March.. Never skied before but included hire, passes and lessons so we had a go.. absolutely loved it although I was rubbish at skiing.. pretty good at falling over though.
Morzine is lovely, make sure you hop on the free bus and visit Avoriaz too

Oh wow Gizmo that sounds fabulous...I do quite fancy learning how to snowboard (even if just to show off to my 14 year old moody teen) although in reality it would probably be more "there goes mum skidding down the slope, using her nose as a ski"

Well, I'm a grandmother and I still had a go.. go for it.. you only live once.
Here are some pictures in my Facebook album. It was really warm in March. We took loads of gear and ended up taking most of it off.. very odd to be sunbathing in the snow !
