Hello,
I wanted to start this diary to help keep me motivated to become debt free. I work part time and am a SAHM - not loads of money coming in so I need to start looking after it! I am aiming to be debt free by September 2015 so we can move home.
Starting debts:
Tesco: £2051.41
Natwest: £2174.29
Post office: £1177.40
Next: £85.73
Total: £5488.83

So I've not done very well this weekend. I didn't get organised enough to make myself lunch for work on Thursday so ended up spending a fiver on lunch. My I phone screen has cracked and broken so going to have a trip to the Apple store. I'm wondering whether it is worth getting this fixed and then selling it on eBay as I still have an older I phone that still works. Is this worth doing? I only got the contract in January so I don't think I can lower the payments. On a good note I haven't spent anything else this weekend, had a lovely meal to celebrate my brothers exam results and my dad paid and hubby paid for drinks. Also I've sold £150 worth of stuff on eBay this weekend which will go towards paying off the debt.
I'm hoping to have a better week next week, just need to buy a birthday present for next Sunday and try not to spend anything on lunches next week.0
