Hi guys any help appreciated and also a warning over the store in question.
Short version!
After placing the order I got a strange email from them saying that the item (in my colour) was out of stock in the warehouse, and could only be ordered direct from manufacturer?. then in the same email said they had all other colours in stock in their warehouse if I wanted to change the colour.
I agreed to change colours if it would be delivered by the following week.
Ive emailed them 5 times and had no reply, they don't seem to have a phone number or postal address.
Ive since researched the company and found horror stories from similar customers but no clear information on how to pursue the matter.
Hope you guys can point me in the right direction,
any help much appreciated
Rgds Ian

Hi Ian, we have your email from the 4th of August. A member of our customer support team has contacted you this afternoon to resolve your order. There is no need for further action etc. We should highlight we have online chat available from 10am to 5pm every day if you have an urgent query and are unable to wait for a reply to an email sent to us.
The Bilbao colour in the XS size is being dispatched for you today. A further email will be sent later today to confirm the delivery tracking details. We hope this helps.
Kind regards,
The Galaxy Stores customer support team0 -
Galaxy Stores - you've clearly not read the T&Cs of the forum or you wouldn't have posted as a company without permission.
Anyway, it's a pretty poor show when emails are ignored until it's brought out into the public domain and only then do you respond. Doesn't show your company in a good light at all.0 -
OP to answer your question about getting your money back, you should be able to file a chargeback with your bank for non-delivery.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

Well fingers crossed this gets resolved and I get my cinewall , reading reviews and comments all over the web suggests otherwise, However I will give them the benefit of the doubt and keep the forum posted. Hopefully with a positive outcome

Hi I have an on-going issue with Galaxy Stores. I bought a garden swing on 8 June and the wrong item was delivered. It was collected by the courier of Galaxy Stores before 20 June but to date I have not received a refund. Today they informed me that they were ceasing trading with immediate effect. I don't believe a word of it, but hope it is true for the sake of others.0

Is the website https://www.galaxystores.co.uk ?
You tried emailing them ?
Why use a firm whose site doesn't have a phone number to call ?0 -
Yes that is the website and yes emails have been exchanged. The fact that Galaxy do not make or receive phone calls is one of the most frustrating things.0

How did you pay? If by card you can make a chargeback or section 75 claim. Otherwise send them a letter before action by post, follow up in small claims court as necessary.
Their address according to Companies House is:
