hahaha bet he had a hard time at school!
we had a Andrew Andrews and also a Robbie Robinson......unless something different happened with their surnames (i.e originally andrew smith, then mum / dad separate and mum remarried and kids took mums new married name!) then I don't get why you would call the first name nearly identical to the surname....unless they thought their surname was totally Awesome so wanted to hear it twice!!2014 Wins : Aug : Retro Sweet Box, Family Tix to Leeds Dino Exhibition, 2 x Capital Cup Football Tickets, 2 x VIP Experience to the Saturdays concert0 -

excellent, that;s good to know!! I am going to change all my last pass info to automatically fill it in with my maiden name from now on! I much prefer my maiden name, it was awesome, tried to get hubby to take it but he was having none of it and I got to take the dude haha

I worked with a Rob Banks (who went into politics, I believe lol) and a Theresa at school married Mr Green. I kid ye not.
The BF's mum is called Norma. I'm relieved she didn't marry Mr Snockers
My married name was far more common. Back to maiden name now which is much easier to search for!

My friend once worked with someone called Ann Cuff
There was also a bloke round our way who was arrested for giving a false name of 'Charlie Chaplin' ....only it was his real name!
With regards to comping names though, I wish I hadn't chosen a stupid email address when I first started out on computer! I often wonder if it has any effects on winning! I suppose I could change it but I've had it for years now!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
When I used to book holidays for people I took a booking for a Mr and Mrs Payne. They were also taking their young son, (age 1?) called Max.
I asked whether they deliberately chose that name for their son considering their surname. The reply was they hadn't thought about it the way I had, which I found hard to believe.thanks to all posters

My mum used to go to school with a girl called Ophelia Balls:eek:
