Career Progression - Sales Administrator

Hi Guys,
I'm still fairly new on here so go easy on me please. I'm currently working for a company which has a low ceiling in terms of promotion. At the moment I work as a Sales Administrator, answering the phones mostly, dealing with customer queries while also inputting orders on SAP which is the system we use.
The natural progression would be to become a Sales Manager but it's not what I want to be doing; just I worked up from this position following the pay rises in all honesty but I've reached near to my maximum with my current company and in fairness not far off the most I've seen advertised for the job online. I appreciate it isn't a hugely skilled job nor holds a great deal of responsibility so I appreciate a change is needed.
I guess what I'm asking (very long winded, apologies!) is have any former Sales Administrators gone onto completely change their career without starting from the bottom? If so do you have any advice or recommendations?
Many thanks for reading.

I was a Sales Administrator for a Mercedes-Benz dealership, I too was like you and dont like an actual "sales" role Im not into the hard sell.
I was promoted within the company to the role of Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. I fell pregnant with my eldest son a few years later and decided not to return after my maternity leave.
I am now an Office Manager for a construction company - I went to college to do some accounting courses which has helped me massively in my current role.1
