Hello lovely DFWers - old timers and newbies. Welcome to a new week
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will do the following:
- send everyone with pack ups
- go and collect a cheque (hopefully) that I am owed
- do a mystery shop
- piggy clicks and any surveys etc
- have a NSD as part of my No Spend Week!
- do an "energy audit" at home to see where we can easily save electric
- not increase my debt in any way
- be positive
I hope everyone has a good day xx

Having a NSD today, packed up a lunch with leftover barBQ food.
Tonight we have a mortgage man coming to discuss a new mortgage (our fixed rate ends in November  ) but we're going to ask for one that we can overpay without penalties...... He's very good, our advisor, he's been doing us for nearly 20 years, but we're going to be looking at an increase in repayments probably.0 -
