Good thing about hangovers is they are always gone in time for the pub the next day.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Feeling a bit discombulated this week/today - got several things playing on my mind - and can't seem to fully relax and let things go. Anyone got any tips to help?
No money news... roll on payday on Thursday!0 -

I tend to be like that, and know that it's very difficult to stop thinking about things
My friend used to get all the things that were bothering her lined up in her head, then she'd imagine putting each one in a box, and sealing the box up. The idea being that, at the end of the process she'd have an empty mind. She swore by this method.
It never quite worked for me........ but it might be worth a go.Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -

Morning all
I know it's not the first til tomorrow but I have already updated my spreadsheet for the month..anyone else get excited doing this? :rotfl:
I have Op'd another £5.80 which was a mixture of a survey payment and a small lottery win.
I have knocked another month off my mortgage :j
Looking to be on course for the remortgage next year :T
After last weeks gallavanting, I won't be straying too far from home this weekend. I have several house jobs that I have been putting off that I am determined to get done.
I also have the final week of my course to complete. It's only been a few hours a week for 8 weeks but I have found it hard aorund FT work. I have a new respect for people who do full on degrees and masters around FT jobs and families, etc!
Have a great day0 -

Yes, its the best day of the month for me too. Though I have to wait to update spreadsheet until I can see it cleared in my online banking.
I am used to the wait though - My family has a tradition of not opening Christmas presents until after the queen.
