Tracking mortgage without broker

I really want to see if there is any news yet on my mortgage app after few probs (nothing major) however I don't really want to keep bothering my broker. I have a letter on with full mortgage offer on before it had to go back which had got various account numbs other numbs etc on it. Is it possible I can track my own application using this or is there a brokers only way of doing it? The lender is santander/abbey
