    I also froze an apple crumble the other day in a mini pyrex ( actually its a "smartprice" pie dish) cost 99p and will of course go in the oven.

    Soup. Soup is dead easy to make and freezes easily. Put it into small plastic containers like the ones you get at chinese takeaways and freeze. Each one holds a portion of soup.
