wanna buy a second hand miele washing machine

wanna buy a 2nd hand washing machine in excellent condition from an elderly couple. The machine is miele premiere 300 , I was wondering at 250 pounds is it a good buy. (the machine belongs to a 65ish couple)
Inside I am THINKING.

Check prices for machines on Ebay. It sounds a bit pricey for a 2nd hand machine in spite of the brand.

There's a 300 model on auction now, currently at under £18 no reserve with 5 days to go till end of auction, so perhaps keep an eye on how that progresses?
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

I think it's pricey too. You can pick up Miele washers here
for less than that. They come with a years warranty too, and some are ex display, and unused. I and my family have bought 3 machines from them now, and all have been unused, even though they were described as used.

I recently purchased an unused, showroom Miele dishwasher (although not from the place Jazzy_B is recommending) which leaked steam all over the place on the first useage. Eventually got a refund. It was my first Miele purchase, and may well be my last. I had always been given to understand they were extremely good.

    Not impressed.

I bought a brand new Miele washer for £400 delivered with 5 yr warantee. I used the various discount codes available on line from Curry's
Best washer we have ever had
NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!
  • I would visit buywiseofbanbury.co they have bargain Miele graded and Miele factory seconds with all the usual Miele warrantee's. The price is very keen and the staff can offer excellent advice.

    Hope this helps.

Miele are the best appliance brand in the UK, pricey but you get what you pay for.
  • Had a look but have seen the Bosch one I am after cheaper new than it is on there!
