My ex husband has stopped paying his child maintenance set by court order

Hi All,
Hoping someone can give me some advise. I divorced in 2007 and my child maintenance was set by the courts. All was ok till approx 3 years ago when my ex decided for no reason to stop paying . He paid nothing for a year then paid half for a few months and again stopped. He now owes thousands in back payments. He will not reply to solicitors letters and i do not want to go to to the csa as he is self employed and will make sure he dosnt look like he earns anything. Im at a loss what to do, i could go back to court but am worried about the costs. Any advise would be very welcome

Your solicitor should have advised you to complete a form (think it is C79) to go back to court to enforce the order.

I doubt very much that the few words that I have highlighted in your post are true!
