£40,000 in debt, please some advice

Hi JJFay, I hope you are managing to sort your debts out and everythings going well with your child who is poorly, and with the new baby.

I was looking for a thread about the CCCS as I have just contacted them myself. I only have about £7k of debt but I feel like there is no end to the reminder letters, phone calls, etc., from my creditors and I have a telephone appointment with the CCCS next week. From what I have read from the posts on this thread I will be able to claw my way back to normality soon hopefully.

I would just like to say that this website is an absolute gem. It's good to know (in a nice way) that I'm not the only one in this situation and, even better, to know that people in worse situations than me have got back on top! ;D ;D

Well the ones of us that posted thought it sounded authentic. If not, the information is useful to someone in a similar position anyway.
