Buying music from USA

As One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer or whatever it's called don't do it for me, I looked at American music.
If you try to buy MP3s from amazon.com rather than amazon.co.uk it won't let you. You can buy CDs though. Sometimes buying them from amazon.com is cheaper than buying imports from amazon.co.uk even with shipping.
If you set up account with amazon.com and make sure you sign in with that email address and password, you can choose billing in sterling on amazon.com which avoids bank charges.
Some (note some) other American websites will allow you to download MP3s with a foreign debit card and with the rate of exchange I've picked up new albums for under £3.
