Any idea what the letters stand for? Might be a number of things..
I used to work for a company that used the Thomas PPA - personality profiling assessment. there is a number of questions, can't remember how many -maybe 30 or 40. In each question there are four adjectives and you have to say which one most describes you and which one least describes you. For example - sociable, gentle, outspoken, devout.
These are then scored and a personality report is produced. You can't cheat, and you can't swot for it. Word of warning - there is a test built in to it that spots inconsistencies (called the social desirability scale) which points out who might not be honest with their answers.
Although I've administered it many times, I've since done a qualification in psychometric testing and the Thomas test isn't that well thought of. Having said that, it's widely used and most people think the reports are reasonably accurate.
If there's a possibility it's a personality test then likely to be this one.
Good luck - and just be yourself.0 -
I put "PPA test" into Google. The first webpage was this one - http://www.oneclickhr.com/ppa/slreport.asp#work
Seems to be the test described by cazziebo.0 -
