I wanna frame to fit an Ordnance Survey map

Hi,

I'm looking for a frame for a standard OS map 960mm x 1300mm. Having googled and check the OS website I can find anyone who sells a frame this large. the largest I can find is A0 which is quite a lot smaller.

Before I pay out for a custom made one, does anyone know where I can buy one? They must sell so many of these maps , I can't believe it's not a standard frame size

are you or any of your friends handy with a saw etc as it wouldn't be too hard to knock one up yourself, either that or have a word with a local DIY shop/builders merchants etc and see if they can chop the wood to size for you. Then either get some glass or perspex for the front, thin bit of wood for the back and glue/pin it all together.

Thanks Blacksheep, I might give it a go. I was a bit wary as the last time I tried mitreing (sp?) it wasn't perfect, but it's going to be so much cheaper I think it's time to get the saw out again.

I've seen those guides they do in B&Q etc, but there seems as much wobble room in those as without. Wish me luck!
